Selected Dissertation Titles
The final element in a student's program is successful completion and defense of a doctoral dissertation. Dissertations should represent original, independent scholarship that is of significance to the discipline of communication. Our faculty is dedicated to mentoring student through the dissertation process. As a result, our students regularly publish findings and arguments from their dissertations in academic books and journals after graduation. Below is a listing of recent dissertations, along with the names of the directing professors. This list should give you a good idea of the type of research currently being conducted in our program.
